WHO WE ARE

• Our Purpose

  Our main objective is to assist these learners to perform better in a school by offering them an education better suited for their needs and assessment by a qualified educational psychologist to identify areas that need improvement. The organisation aims to build a full service school that will cater for learners with severe learning barriers. It will therefore cater for the community for generations to come. A Survey conducted showed that there are a number of learners struggling with learning barriers within the mainstream schools that cannot be referred to special schools due to a shortage of special schools and a backlog of referrals from educational psychologists. Learners with barriers are identified at an early age, lower grades but due to the backlog, the learners are forced to attend mainstream schools to a point where they even finish primary school, and in worst case scenarios even high schools. Support needs are not met during their schooling years as a result of attending mainstream schools that offer CAPS curriculum instead of the specialised one DCAPS curriculum. The organisation is newly established and therefore has not received any funding in the past from any government or private company. All projects that have been taking place so far have all been self-funded.
